Seeking beauty in unexpected places.

Born in Yokohama, Japan, and raised in Paris, France, Sali Sasaki is a communication designer, author and researcher specialized in cultural heritage regeneration, social design and international cooperation. 

Since the last two decades, she has produced creative workshops, exhibitions, publications and cultural projects for UNESCO, government bodies and CSOs in Asia. 

She is the editor of “Building Resilience: disaster risk management for documentary heritage and digital archives”and the author of the children’s book “Let’s Explore the Memory of the World” both published by UNESCO.

Sali holds an MA in Visual Communication Design from the Royal College of Art (RCA) and a BFA in Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design.  She is currently Foreign Associate - Fellow at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts in New Delhi.
